Crystal Fox
Office Manager
Crystal is a native of McDowell County, NC. She has over 20 years of professional experience having been employed in and managed local dental practices. She believes it is so important to brush your teeth, take care of your oral health, and thank your dental hygienist as a smile is your own unique accessory and pearly white teeth make it even more beautiful. Outside of the office, Crystal enjoys staying in shape, being active, and spending quality time with her husband Andy, friends, and their little dogs “Honey and Mr. Pickles.” She and her husband will be doing a lot more traveling in the next year to new places and we know she is very excited about their new ventures.
Jessica
Insurance Coordinator
As the insurance coordinator at Viewmont Family Dentistry, Jess helps clients navigate their insurance coverage and takes the stress out of the insurance process so our patients can focus on what matters most.
Outside of work Jess is a loving and devoted mom to her three girls. She loves watching her girls chase their dreams, traveling, hiking, running, and being outdoors.
Deidre
Dental Hygienist
Deidre has been a dental hygienist since 2008 and joined our team in 2016. Deidre is great at connecting with our patients and is always a favorite! She takes pride in making her patients feel as comfortable as possible in the dental chair. Deidre enjoys spreading her free time with her husband, John and kids, Isaac and Emma, and her dog, Lucy.
Marlon
Dental Hygienist
This is Marlon, he became a dental hygienist in 2018 and has been with us since 2021. Marlon was born in Colorado and grew up in Conover. Marlon went to Catawba Valley Community College to become a dental hygienist and has a passion for oral healthcare. Marlon’s favorite hobbies include playing tennis and learning how to play a new instrument.
Dina
Dental Hygienist
Dina was raised in South Florida and moved to Hickory in May of 2024. She has been in the dental field since 1998. She graduated with her dental hygiene degree from Palm Beach Community College in May 2001. She enjoys spending time with her husband, kitties, bike riding and playing pickleball.
Stephanie
Dental Assistant
This is our long term dental assistant, Stephanie. She has been working here since before Dr. Scheller bought the office in 2013. Stephanie is married to her husband, Lance and they have a little girl named Lexi. Stephanie’s passion is helping patients and seeing them smile at the end of the appointment. Fun fact about Stephanie, she loves spending her free time going shopping.
Kayla
Dental Assistant
This is Kayla, our dental assistant who works side by side with Dr. Hamren. She takes a great pride in helping our patients create a smile they love. Kayla loves spending time with her husband, Chris and her daughter, Paxton. Kayla has a passion for running and will be in her first half marathon this year.
Yulisa
Dental Assistant
Yulisa started her career here working as our sterilization technician and did on the job training. She is our bilingual translator and enjoys helping patients achieve the smile they want. Outside of the office, Yulisa will be traveling or spending time with her family.
Brittany
Dental Assistant
Hi, I’m Brittany and I am a DAll, I’ve been assisting in making dental experiences happen since 2011. I have a 16-year-old son, Kingston, and my husband, Corey. They are my world! I enjoy kayaking when not making temporaries (dental humor) and walking my dog Ali. I enjoy what I do and growing with my community.
Allie
Dental Assistant
With four years of experience in the dental field, Allie brings a compassionate and dedicated approach to patient care. Grounded in her faith in God and supported by her fiancé Dawson, as well as their furry family of two cats and two beloved Goldendoodles, she finds joy and purpose in helping others. Allie is deeply committed to guiding each patient on their journey to achieving their best possible smile, using her expertise and gentle touch to create a positive and transformative experience.
Karalee
Dental Assistant
Karalee graduated from Lake Norman Dental Assisting School in 2018 and accepted the position as a Dental Assistant here shortly after. She always strives to bring a smile to each patient no matter the situation. Being in the dental field had been a dream of hers since she was very young, wanting to follow in her mother’s footsteps. On Karalee’s days off, she enjoys spending time with her son, especially snowboarding in the mountains.
